And it’s all made possible by you, our generous community support.

Largely through book sale purchases, in addition to membership dues, and donations, we fund a wide range of educational, cultural, and creative initiatives that enrich lives and bring people together.

From inspiring Speaker Series and engaging Film Screenings to hands-on experiences in Art Workshops, and the Makerspace Studio, and Museum Passes, our support ensures that the library remains a vibrant hub for lifelong learning. We also help provide access to Museum Passes, eZone digital resources, and even a subscription to The Providence Journal.

Beyond programming, the Friends award an annual High School Scholarship, have sponsored the Friends Conference Room and have contributed to Library capital building campaigns - $25,000 for the Children's Room, and $25,000 for the main library update - investing in the future of our shared space and ensuring it continues to serve the evolving needs of our community.
Whether you're exploring new ideas or connecting with neighbors, the Friends help make it possible.
